Hace tiempo que estaba buscando como era la moda en mi isla en la antiguedad.Casi no hay informacion.Lo que hice fue buscar fotos antiguas y de ahi deducir como era la moda en Puerto Rico.
Long time ago,i want to know how was puertorican fashion in other time.Information is not so much.What i did was found old photos of Puerto Rico and from there,know how the fashion in the island was.

La tipica puertorriqueña era morena.Con el pelo ondulado,cabello hasta el hombro.
Cuando veias rubias usualmente eran extrangeras o personas de alto nivel.
Typical puertorrican woman was brunette.With waves in her hair,over the neck.When you see blonds was foreigners or high class people!
La ropa usualmente era un traje sencillo.Los zapatos[los que tenian]era el mismo tipo hasta los 40's.Los zapatos bajitos cerrados.
Los trajes con hombreras grandes se usaba mucho.
Clothes usual simple.Shoes[if they use]usually the same type.The low close shoes.
1898-1910
El maquillaje era sencillo,rubor,lipstick[si es que usaban] y cejas bastante definidas.
Makeup was simple,blush,lipstick and eyebrows well define.
1930
Vemos como ya en 1930 usaban sombreros.Ese es un paseo a la playa[bastante incomodo ir a la playa con esa ropa].
We saw how in 1930's they use hats.This is a trip to the beach[very unconfortable,go to the beach in those clothes]
1940's
Ya en los 40's comenzaron a usar modas mas "americanizadas".El cabello mas largo,los tipicos trajes de esa epoca.Vemos ya zapatos que enseñan mas los dedos,no cerrados y tambien faldas mas cortas.
In the 40's they used more american fashion .The hair was longer,the dress the typical 1940's dress.We saw shoes and they show the fingers of the feets.And the skirt was shorter.
1950's
Los peinados empiezan a cortar el cabello.Los zapatos
tienen tacones mas altos.
Hair is shorter.Shoes have more heels.
1960's
Ya vemos como imitan el estilo americano.Poniendose pañuelos en la cabeza y trajes muy clasicos.
We see that they try to be like americans.Put in scarf around the hair and very classy dress.
El peinado que estaba de moda era el de la actriz Rita Moreno.
Hair that was in was Rita Moreno hairstyle.
Era comun ver artistas locales como imitar estilos como los de Audrey Hepburn.
Was very common see puertorrican artist ,try to copy style like the Audrey Hepburn type.
1970's
La moda boho llega a la isla en los 70's.Y se ve con este shooting de la revista Vogue de 1970's
Boho fashion came in the 1970's.We see that in this Vogue magazine shooting 1970's.
